Our Story
It all started with a soft cookie that was not so soft anymore.
Dad once asked Mom, who was visiting her family in Bangkok, to bring him some soft cookies. But by the time the cookies arrived home in Khon Kaen, they were no longer soft.
That was when Dad realized how quickly a couple of days could affect the softness of a cookie. He started wondering, is it possible to make a soft cookie that actually stays soft for more than just two or three days?
He thought that if he could figure it out, maybe these cookies could be delivered to customers anywhere in Thailand, just like the coffee he roasts and delivers.
So Dad started working on the recipe.
He kept experimenting with different ingredients, baking methods, and textures to see how long he could keep the cookies soft, chewy, and moist.
Around the same time, I had just graduated and my sister had moved back to Khon Kaen. With the three of us back home together, we decided to give the idea a try.
And that is how On Dough Way began.
A family project that started with one simple question:
Can we make a soft cookie that stays soft?
